The English translation for the word 'kraam' is not that easy. 'Kraam' describes the timeframe of the first days after delivery. The woman who gave birth is called a 'kraam'woman, the rest she is taking is called 'kraam' bed and the nurse who is helping her is called 'kraam'nurse. And so the book she is using is called the 'kraam' wijzer in which 'wijzer' means guide.  Got it?
