"The First 8 Days of Being a Mom is a wonderful practical guide for new moms. It's an invaluable resource to tell you what is normal, what to expect and what to do for you and your baby's first days together."

"I initially ordered a copy of "The First 8 Days of Being a Mom" as a resource to add to my lending library. However upon receiving it, I realized that I had an AMAZING resource in my hands, one that is a must have for every expectant parent. I plan to share "The First 8 Days of Being a Mom" with all of my clients, as I believe that it is an invaluable resource, and will help to relieve a lot of stress surrounding the first days of being home with a new baby!"

Mission iCare Press, LLC

iCare Press is a 21st Century media publisher dedicated to helping empower, inform and inspire readers in a practical, clear way.

Mission The First 8 Days of Being a Mom

Empower woman and their intimate circle with clear and practical information to achieve good and healthy beginnings for mother and child.

Foundation

iCare Press was conceived organically. Gea Meijering’s own experiences becoming a mother and using the Dutch equivalent of The First 8 Days of Being a Mom manual in the USA and the wish from other moms to have the same manual available in English made her start this venture.

Enter fellow mom Melissa Sherman Pearl who willingly threw in her writing and editing skills and encouraged Gea to actually print the book.

And so iCare Press was born to make the manual available in the USA.

The motivating goal was to give expectant moms and their families a solid base of concise and proven information to achieve a healthy and sane beginning of new life and motherhood.

And as this whole project was conceived organically for the most part we try to promote, market and grow in the same way.

We like to create an environment for our customers, our partners, the public and ourselves which is meaningful, empowers, informs, motivates, builds self esteem, responsibility, is healthy, creative and sometimes fun.
